Ed Big Daddy Roth by RufusInk2011 Ed Big Daddy Roth by RufusInk2011
I found inspiration for my pencil skecth in the book, "Hot Rods by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth (photo by George Schreiber). It's funny how Ed can wrinkle his lip like one of his "monsters" and asking if you would like to RACE!!! Long live Ed Roth!

.I met Ed Roth at the world of wheels not sure what year it was . when I saw him there was no one around him so we talked for a couple minutes I got his autograph on a lawn fink , what a cool guy and he showed me and my brother a picture of what he called the conastoga wagon "I probably spelt that wrong but" it was a kids little red wagon body with go kart motor wheels the whole deal. he said we were one of the first few to see it finished , I'll nver forget that time I had with the worlds greatest hot rod artist.man if I only had a camera

Awesome story! Thanks for sharing that. I do have "Tales of the Rat Fink" on DVD. And I have never met Ed Roth... but it sounds like he was a cool cat.

Thanks! I started the pencil sketch on Saturday and worked on it during the week in my spare time.
